Choosing a business name that's actually available
Picking a business name is one of the first big decisions a new business makes, and it's often made in a rush — a name gets chosen, printed on a signboard, and registered with a bank before anyone checks whether a matching website domain is even free. That's backwards: a great name with no available domain forces an awkward workaround (a hyphen, an extra word, a totally different .co.in spelling) that confuses customers for years. This free tool flips the order — it generates 20 name ideas and checks .com/.in domain availability for every single one, in the same step, so you never fall in love with a name you can't actually get online.
How the domain check works (and its one limitation)
Each generated name is converted into a domain-safe slug and checked
against .com and .in using a live DNS lookup — the
same kind of check that happens every time a browser tries to load a
website. If a domain currently resolves, it's flagged "Taken"; if nothing
resolves, it's flagged "Likely available". That second phrase is
deliberate: a DNS lookup can only tell you whether a domain is currently
pointed at a live website — it cannot see the domain registry directly, so a
domain that's registered but not yet set up to point anywhere (a common
situation right after someone else buys it) can still show as "likely
available" here. Always confirm the final name with a domain registrar
before you buy or print anything.
Fill in your industry and a naming style — modern, traditional, or playful — and optionally a city or founder name if you want it worked into a couple of the suggestions. You'll get 20 genuinely different name ideas in one generation, each with its own .com and .in status, so you can compare options side by side instead of checking one name at a time.
From a name to a live business page
Once you've settled on a name and confirmed the domain is really free,
the fastest way to get online is a free BizGo business page at
yourbusiness.bizgo.in — no domain purchase or hosting setup
required to get a shareable link, Google review link, and WhatsApp contact
button live today. You can always layer a custom domain on top later once
the business is established. See the box above to claim your page.
