Google AI Visibility Checker
When someone asks Google Maps or Google Search's AI for a recommendation in your trade, it doesn't list all the businesses in town — it names 3 or 4. This tool has three steps: verify the problem yourself in 10 seconds, score the signals Google leans on, then see the exact fix for each one you're missing.
Step 1 — Go verify it yourself, right now
This is the whole point: don't take our word for it. Open Google on your own phone and look at what its AI actually tells a customer.
Don't want to type your details above? Just open Google Maps on your phone right now and search for your own trade in your area — that's the whole test.
Step 2 — Score the 3 signals Google's AI leans on
Be honest — this only works on you if you're honest with yourself. Check anything that's true right now.
Step 3 — Your fixes, in priority order
Every box you checked above maps to one specific thing you can do about it.
Nothing to fix yet — check a box in Step 2 above.

Get Google reviews on autopilot
BizGo's Review Engine sends every customer a friendly WhatsApp check-in and review request automatically — no manual follow-up, no filtering, fully compliant with Google's policies.
Why Google's AI only names 3 or 4 businesses
Ask Google Maps or Google Search "who's the best plumber near me" and you no longer get a long list of 90 businesses in town — you get an AI-written answer naming a small handful. Everyone outside that handful is effectively invisible for that search, no matter how good their work is. Google's own guidance on local ranking has long pointed to three broad factors — relevance, distance, and prominence — and prominence is where reviews, review recency, and how completely a profile is filled out have always mattered most. An AI answer that has to pick just 3 or 4 names leans on those same signals even harder than a normal results list did.
Verify it yourself before you trust any tool — including this one
The fastest way to know where you stand isn't a scraped report or a scored dashboard — it's opening Google on your own phone and asking it the exact question a customer would ask. Step 1 above builds that question for you and links straight to Google Maps and Google Search so you can see, in your own hands, exactly what a customer sees. This tool never scrapes Google, never calls a paid API, and never fabricates a score from data it doesn't have — everything after Step 1 is an honest self-check you fill in yourself, the same philosophy as BizGo's Google Business Profile Audit Score tool.
The three signals — and why they're the ones worth checking
Review count and recency tell Google (and a customer scanning results) that a business is active and trusted right now, not just years ago. Owner replies signal an actively managed listing — a business nobody is minding is a worse recommendation than one that answers back. Profile completeness — hours, photos, a services list — is the baseline information an AI answer needs to even consider recommending you confidently. None of these are secret; they're also the three most fixable things about a Google Business Profile, which is exactly why this checker only asks about these three instead of trying to reverse-engineer Google's full algorithm.
What this tool does not do
It does not guarantee you'll appear in any AI answer, does not scrape or automatically pull your live Google listing, and does not connect to any paid API. It's a free, honest, 100% browser-side self-check — the same standard every BizGo free tool holds itself to. If your Reviews signal came back weak, BizGo's Review Engine sends every customer an automatic WhatsApp review request; if Replies came back weak, AI Auto-Replies drafts and can auto-post a reply to every new review; if Completeness came back weak, a BizGo digital business page and our 25-point Profile Audit both help you close the gap.
Frequently Asked Questions
No — nobody can guarantee that, including BizGo. Google's AI ranking process isn't public and we don't control it. This tool only helps you check and strengthen the three signals Google's own local-ranking guidance points to: review count and recency, whether you reply to reviews, and profile completeness.
No. Nothing is scraped, fetched, or pulled from Google automatically — you check the three boxes yourself, honestly, after looking at your own profile (and, in Step 1, at Google's actual AI answer on your own phone). That's also why it works instantly with no login and no API key.
This checker focuses only on the three signals specific to Google's AI-generated recommendations and starts with a real self-verification step. For a complete 25-point health check of your whole profile — photos, posts, Q&A, attributes and more — use the free Google Business Profile Audit Score tool instead.
Check the box honestly if you're not sure — "I don't know" is itself a sign this isn't something you track closely, which is exactly the gap the Review Engine is built to close automatically.
No — the whole checker runs in your browser. Nothing you type in Steps 1 or 2 is uploaded, logged, or stored on any BizGo server.
