It answers from the instructions saved for your page in your dashboard — drafted from your page when you first set it up, using your business name, tagline, about text, service and product names, and your address — plus the persona you write, where you tell it how to speak and what to say.
Those instructions are a snapshot, not a live feed: editing your page later does not update them on its own. If your prices, services or hours change, update the instructions in Setup too — and note that it never sees your timings or phone number unless you put them there yourself.
Straight into your CRM contacts in your BizGo dashboard, the same list your customers already sit in. That means a lead the chat captures can be used by the Review Engine to ask for a Google review after you have served them, or by a Reactivation campaign later on. You can also export them.
Chat transcripts are kept for 12 months and are then permanently deleted. Leads captured from a chat — name, phone and email — are kept indefinitely as a business record in your CRM contacts, until you delete them.
